Uganda Air Gets New Airplane

Air Uganda gets new airplane  from the American GECAS, the plane was issued to Uganda on lease.  The Bombardier CRJ 200 airplane has 50 seats and its economy class and business class type.

The Management of Uganda Air is really happy about the new plane saying that it will help them to facilitate their operations to the new routes and current ones. The routes are Juba and the newly introduced flights from Entebbe via Kilimanjaro to Mombasa.

This brings the total fleet of Air Uganda to presently four, including one remaining MD 87 aircraft, the only one on the fleet with a two class Business and Economy layout.

This make the fourth plane with Uganda air, and its optimist that this plane will surely increase business.

Air Uganda, which started up in 2007, is now flying from Entebbe, as quasi national airline of Uganda, to Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Mombasa, Kigali, Bujumbura and Juba.
