Turkish Weekend

It was certainly a great party mood as Turkish in Uganda celebrated Turkish Weekend at the Kampala Serena hotel.  this was aimed at promoting Turkish culture, Turk tourism, and to bring together Turks living in Uganda to celebrate their roots.

Uganda and Turkey had also so much to celebrate, the working relationship, with 200 aircraft in service, a modern fleet from both Airbus and Boeing, Turkey and Uganda now enjoy daily flights and passengers have a host of European, Asian and American destinations to choose from.

This celebration featured all the best Turkish foods and cuisines, traditional performances, dressing, art, drinks were no exception. Kampala Serena, with Lake Victoria Serena will be carrying out the similar celebration for Christmas this year

By the end of 2014 will Turkish Airlines connect some 40 African cities, mostly using their Boeing B737-800NG and on selected routes the larger B737-900NG aircraft, while then for onward flights from Istanbul using wide body equipment in a classic hub and spoke operation.
