Community Training

Uganda Wildlife Authority and the The Chimpanzee Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Trust have both agreed to training communities with the aim of promoting tourism.

The organizations will have their staff undergo skilled management training before they engage the communities.
This move will not only bring awareness to the communities but also conservation of private owned forests that have wild animals living there in.

At a meeting in Lake Victoria Hotel, Andrew Sseguya the UWA executive director, said with memorandum of understanding in place, the two organizations will be in position to rescue and care for the orphaned chimpanzee as well as the welfare and conservation of the endangered species.
